Lay ministries

A lay person is anyone who is baptised and a full member of the Roman Catholic Church, a lay person has particular responsibilities to carry out in the community of the church. Since the Second Vatican Council ( A very important meeting of the Church in the 1960's) there has been an attempt for lay people to have a greater role within the church.

CO-OPERATES in presenting the word of God to the parish

Knights of St. Columba

OFFERS special skills, e.g.

Building

Management and accounting

Marriage problems

Drink
