ICT in RE June 6th 2001

At Painsley we have developing the use of ICT in RE for the last six years. Consequently the RE department has built up a number of strategies and resources for the use of ICT in RE.

The aim of this course is to share ideas and give teachers practical examples that can be used by anyone in delivering RE in school.

Developing Spirituality in your school

June 20th 2001

The fundamental reason why Catholic schools exist is to provide a Christian environment where young people can learn and grow in the context of Catholic beliefs and values. Conveying this spirituality to pupils in the context of youth culture can be challenging.

This course will explore and share ideas about how to make events like Mass and other liturgies exciting and meaningful for young people.

We will look at how an RE department can influence and develop the opportunities for spirituality within their school.
