What is a Small World?

Everyone generally thinks about the world wide web as a huge, sprawling metropolis of web sites, the biggest library in the world, a vast resource for everyone.Small Worlds

Painsley focuses on the smaller aspects of this exciting technology. All of us need to sometimes access information that deals with the world at large, but more often we are interested in local issues and information that affects our every day lives.

We are interested in creating web sites that can be used by communities for their own specialised needs; sites that focus on the local issues whether it's for a school, a church, a village, a town, a small group of people or simply some localised idea. We call them "Small Worlds".
