    G.C.S.E. Results, 2004

    Once again Painsley Catholic High School has achieved outstanding G.C.S.E. results!  Painsley is a Beacon school noted for excellent results and yet again the G.C.S.E. results this year  have been out of this world! 

          77.7% of all pupils in the year gained 5 or more of the higher G.C.S.E. grades A* to C.  This is an amazing 144 out of 186 pupils.

          53% of pupils achieved 9 or more subjects at A*-C grades.

          100% of all pupils achieved 8 or more A* to G grades, a figure that places Painsley in one of the top 5% nationally.
